About NewmanFrancis

  • and service improvements to local communities across London.

About your new role as one of the NewmanFrancis’s team as one of their Resident Liaison Officer:

What does success look like?

During your first six months, you will have developed solid relationships with our site teams and residents and have processes in place to ensure you are delivering an approachable and responsive service.

You’ll have achieved this through several different ways:

  • Implementing project mobilisation procedures, including collating key documentation, completing project set-up forms, attending project inception meetings, and mobilising project resources.

  • Using your experience and best endeavours to resolve residents' concerns, liaise with other organisations and agencies as appropriate.

  • Investigating and processing any claims of damage following the clients'/contractors’ procedures.

  • Designing, planning and undertaking outreach and consultation work (door-knocking, questionnaires, etc.)

  • Producing effective communication materials using a variety of media such as emails, social media, websites, leaflets, and newsletters – to diverse audiences

Job requirements

About you and your background, which will help you thrive in this role as Resident Liaison Officer:

  • Have experience in a construction/buildings/property environment

  • Be a creative thinker with a positive outlook

  • Have good planning and organisational skills

  • Be flexible, and have good problem-solving skills

  • Remain calm and collected under pressure

  • Be able to use your communication skills to develop professional relationships with diverse individuals and communities

  • Be able to work flexibly, including occasional evening and weekend working

  • Have a ‘can do’ personality
